ENTRY INFORMATION: North and South Carolina High School intact Varsity teams are eligible. The first 20 Boys and Girls tournament slots are reserved for North Carolina teams only. After those slots have filled, both North Carolina and South Carolina teams will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. Tournament size will be determined by State Games office. Late entries will only be accepted if space permits.

• Coaches should use the team reservation form located in the PDF above.
• Send the team reservation form and entry fee to the State Games office.
• After your reservation form and fee are received, you will receive a confirmation of your entry.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY RULE: Rosters must be signed by a school administrator.
ROSTER INFORMATION: ALL coaches will be required to enter their roster online by June 19th! You will receive instructions in your confirmation email on how to enter your roster online. The Coach Login Page is where you will go to do this. All coaches must also print out the Agreement to Participate (PDF above) and have all players' parents (if under age of 18) sign the form. This form will need to be turned into the Competition Manager on-site no later than one hour before the first game.
FORMAT: Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of four games.
AWARDS: The top three teams in each division will receive gold, silver and bronze medals. Only the individuals listed on the roster will receive medals.
SPECIAL INFORMATION: 2009-2010 NCHSAA rules will be in effect with the following exceptions/additions:
• Teams must wear their high school game jerseys. Please make sure you bring a second, different colored jersey as well. If you are unable to wear your high school game jerseys, please let the State Games office know by emailing stategamesnc@ncsports.org or calling 919-361-1133.
• Players must be eligible 12th, 11th, 10th or 9th graders or under during the 2010-2011 school year. No graduated seniors may participate in this division.
• The head coach of each team must be a member of the school’s faculty and must be on the team bench at all times during his or her team’s games. Any exceptions must be approved by the State Games office prior to the tournament.
• Game time is forfeit time.
• Roster limit is 20 players, three coaches and one scorekeeper. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Each team must have an experienced scorekeeper. If you do not provide a scorekeeper to sit at the scorers’ table, your team will not play.
• Final roster deadline is June 18.
• No roster changes are allowed after June 18.
• No player under 18 is allowed to play without having the Agreement to Participate signed by a parent or legal guardian. Coaches may not sign the form for a player.
• Head coaches must check in at the tournament at least one hour before their first game.
• Before each game, head coaches must check in with the competition manager 15 minutes before game time and be accompanied by at least five players.
