NEW FOR 2010: The 2010 High School Lacrosse competition is now a one day tournament consisting of teams representing the East and West regions (Boys & Girls), competing in a best of three format!
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN UP ON FEBRUARY 14TH!
COMPETITION SITE: Queens Sports Complex at Marion Diehl Park (Address: 2229 Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC)
COMPETITION DATES: Saturday June 19th
APPLICATION FEE: There will be a $10 tryout application fee to tryout per player. For those players who are selected to represent their region, there will be an additional $40 entry fee. Fees are non-refundable. Selected players will receive a game jersey.
DESCRIPTION: An elite-level, Olympic-style event for high school players. Players represent one of two regions (East vs. West) in a best of three series with some of the best lacrosse talent in the state in front of a number of college coaches.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Rising juniors and seniors will be selected to represent the two N.C High School Athletic Association regions (* Graduated seniors and rising 9th graders will be allowed to participate for the GIRLS ONLY). Players must attend a tryout in order to be selected.
SPECIAL INFORMATION:
Boys – graduated seniors or rising 9th graders will NOT be allowed to participate
Girls – graduated seniors and rising 9th graders WILL BE allowed to participate
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Any interested player can submit an entry form to the State Games office (entry form is available in the PDF above)
• All nominees and entrants will be invited to try out in their region.
• Players must attend tryouts in order to be selected.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Tryouts will be open to all players who submit a form by May 14th
