*NOTE: Junior ages are determined by the participants age on May 31, 2010. Juniors may play in their age division until the month they age out of that division. This means that players who are 10, 12, 14, 16 or 18 years old may continue to play in their age divisions until the month they turn 11, 13, 15, 17 or 19 respectively.
**NOTE: The tournament for juniors is a Futures (novice) tournament. Please note eligibility requirements below:

This tournament is a Futures/NC Level 5 event. Therefore, this tournament restricts those players that are ranked too high in the NC standings from playing. Please refer to the chart below to see each division’s restriction:
Boys/Girls 18s: Top 50 in NC are ineligible for this tournament Boys/Girls 16s: Top 80 in NC are ineligible for this tournament Boys/Girls 14s: Top 80 in NC are ineligible for this tournament Boys/Girls 12s: Top 80 in NC are ineligible for this tournament Boys/Girls 10s: Top 10 in NC are ineligible for this tournament
Refer to the most recent standings list for the month of May 2010 to see if you are ineligible.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are ineligible for one division, you are ineligible for all divisions. (i.e.) If you are ranked 80 or higher in the Girls 12s, you are also INELIGIBLE for the Girls 10s, 14s, 16s, and 18s. |

SPECIAL INFORMATION:
• 2010 USTA rules will govern play.
COMPETITION FORMAT:
Junior tournament: Singles: Best of 3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set. First match losers consolation. Each participant will be guaranteed at least 2 matches in each singles division.
Doubles: 8 game pro set. Single elimination for doubles.. You may enter a maximum of two divisions.
Adult tournament: Singles and Doubles: Best of 3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set. First match losers consolation. Each participant will be guaranteed at least 2 matches in each division. You may enter a maximum of two divisions
AWARDS: The winners and finalists in each division will receive awards. Consolation winners and finalists in each junior division will receive awards, and consolation winners in each adult division will receive awards.
