COMPETITION DATES: Saturday, June 19th - Sunday, June 20th

SANCTIONING: This is an unrestricted NCYSA sanctioned tournament allowing all NCYSA and US Club teams to participate.

ENTRY DEADLINE: May 14 – Entries may be accepted after this date at the discretion of the State Games office.

IMPORTANT:  Each team must be comprised of only NCYSA players or only US Club players – a mix of player cards for one team will not be accepted!  If you have a mix of players on your team (i.e. 5 US Club players and 5 NCYSA players), then you MUST get everyone carded by the same association.

NOTE: If divisions do not fill, they may be combined at the discretion of the State Games staff. If only two teams register in a division, the teams will decide whether to play or not play. If the teams decide to play, a partial refund will be granted. If combined, younger teams will be notified and given the chance to withdraw. Girls may play in boys divisions.

DESCRIPTION OF ELIGIBLE TEAMS

NCYSA TEAMS (Please scroll down for requirements for US Club Teams)

·        Intact Recreational Teams (RT): Teams that have played together during the Fall '09/Spring '10 season as a recreational team for their local association. Guest players will need a Guest Player Roster Completed. See Directions in Rules.

·        Recreational Tournament Teams: Teams that are comprised of players from different recreational teams from one or multiple associations.

o       all players are from the same association. The players will be listed on the State Games Roster, then signed, dated and red stamped by their NCYSA Registrar.

o       Inter-Club Tournament Teams (IC3)- players are from different associations. The players will be listed on the State Games Roster AND players will also need the Guest Player Roster completed and signed by coaches, and releasing registrar. The guest player rosters will then be attached to the State Games Roster. See Directions in Rules.

·        Intact Challenge Teams (S3): Teams that played together during the Fall ’09/Spring ’10 season as a challenge team for their local association. No challenge teams that are comprised of players from multiple associations or teams will be allowed to play. Guest players will need a Guest Player Roster Completed. See Directions in Rules.
