Players in Adult 18 & over divisions must be 18 years old or older and not eligible by age to compete in the High School Age Classification. No Youth players may play in Adult 18 & over divisions. Girls may play in the women's division only if approved by their parents and Powerade State Games staff.

A maximum of 20 players may be on the roster. A maximum of five roster changes or additions may be made after your roster is submitted. Roster changes can only be made if the new player’s complete information (including birth certificates for youth players) and signed Agreement to Participate is received in the Powerade State Games office three or more business days before your first scheduled game. • Faxed Agreement to Participate forms will not be accepted. Absolutely no roster changes or additions may be made less than three business days before your first scheduled game. This includes goaltenders. If a coach believes a player may be absent for one of the team’s games during the tournament, he/she should place another player on the roster prior to the roster deadline.

•Roster changes must be approved by and made with the Powerade State Games office. ADULT teams only: Coaches that are playing on their team must also be listed as a player on the roster.

Participants who wish to apply to enter as “individuals” may do so by contacting the Powerade State Games office. Coaches/Captains looking for individual players to add to their rosters may contact the Powerade State Games office for a list of available players.

In an attempt to place Youth Travel and House teams in separate and more competitive divisions, any Youth player who played a Travel game during the 2009-2010 season may not compete at the House level in Powerade State Games. One travel player constitutes travel level for a team. This includes Travel players wishing to play up a level in a House division.

All teams must have matching color jerseys that have a unique number on the back. If opposing teams have the same color jerseys, the team listed as the visitor will wear pullover or substitute jerseys.

Youth players may not compete for more than one team in the same division.  However, women playing in the women’s division may also play on an adult 18 & over division team if scheduling permits.

Players who sign up for teams in an inappropriate division may be removed from the Powerade State Games with no refunds given.

Rosters will be checked through USA Hockey and players home rink Ice Hockey Director. Also, some players may be asked to submit prior score sheets to prove their division.

No player in the Adult “C” and Women's divisions may score more than 3 goals in a game.

Game length may be shortened at the discrepancy of the Tournament Director. Each team is guaranteed to play the same amount of time.
